     ANNOUNCES AUDITIONS FOR 

                  “PETER PAN” 

SATURDAY AUGUST 16th : 10AM – 3PM

     SUNDAY AUGUST 17th:    2PM – 5PM 

PEA RIDGE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH

Casting available for:

   Kindergarten- Senior (H.S.) – female/male ; There are multiple parts with all different varieties of skills (see enclosed casting list). Please have a 30 second song prepared. There will be a pianist, but you may use an accompaniment tape or CD with NO vocals and must be cued to the proper song. Wear comfortable clothes for dance.

 

   Ages 4-7 female/male – Tinkerbellettes and Little Pirates will present an introduction medley BEFORE all the performances only. Tinkerbellettes and Little Pirates do not need to present a song for auditions but if you are interested in this part, please come to any of the audition times and fill out casting forms.

 

  “PETER PAN”  will be presented 10/31, 11/1, 11/2 and 11/7, 11/8, and 11/9 at Huntington High School Auditorium, 1 Highlander Way. 1 or 2 school shows will be presented on Thursday Nov. 6th. Casting will be immediately after the end of auditions and the 1st cast meeting is tentatively set for Sunday August 24th. Solo rehearsals will begin the week of August 25th-29th and full cast rehearsals will begin Tuesday Sept. 2nd. Rehearsals will be held on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and times will be set by the 1st cast meeting. We may have a few vocal rehearsals scheduled on Wednesdays. Tech week will begin the weekend of Oct 24th.

CASTING FOR KINDERGARTEN - SENIOR (HS):

Peter Pan - female or male Strong Vocalist -  (mezzosoprano or tenor) - middle to high school. The Strength and agility of a dancer is required! Character is a must!

Peter Pan is the center of the show and must simply be a triple threat!

 

Wendy-- (mezzosoprano)-- high school, Spirited and Mature.." A Wendy Mother"

 

Michael -   Elementary to middle school. Cute, sweet, vocal ability to harmonize. Dancing helpful as this character flies.

 

John -  Middle to High School. Studious, mature, vocal ability to harmonize. Dancing helpful as this character flies.

 

Liza -  High School Female. Strong vocal and dance ability as this character sings duet and flies with Pan and dances a ballet with the animals.

 

Nana -  Middle to High School -Boy or Girl
